Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
With the recent local and world markets shift towards zero emission vehicles and benefiting from Volgren’s strong focus on the design and development of innovative new bus solutions, we are looking to increase our workforce at this exciting time with talented individuals contributing to the overall success of our company.

We are looking to fill the position of Skilled Trades Assistant within our Malaga facility. In this hands-on position, you will have a strong drive and motivation to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
Position enjoys working a 9-day fortnight. Pay rate is market competitive and depends on experience and qualifications. This will be a permanent full-time opportunity and paid as per our Enterprise Agreement.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experienced in the use of hand tools - drills, rivet guns, grinders, spanners, ratchets, rattle, gluing, cutting, fixing
• Fit out experience including fitting interior moulds, interior laminates, fitting side glass, saloon seats, usb chargers, saloon doors
• Cutting and grinding chassis components if required
• Drilling and tapping
• Ability to read drawings - technical
• Health and safety focus
• Quality focus/ attention to detail

Desired Skills and Experience
This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test
