Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Store Person to join our growing workshop in Malaga, Western Australia. You will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, liaising with Team Leader and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Replenishing consumables such as SIKA, drills.
  • Work towards Volgren’s main KPI’s of SQDCE. (Safety/Quality/Deliver/ Cost).
  • Manage daily requirements ie. Receiving goods, load/unloading trucks,MT picks & transfers & Pick trolleys.
  • Understand and rectify over issue root cause.
  • Maintain stock checks.
  • Preparing Negative OH report END of month and be responsible for finding pathways to minimize.
  • Yard work

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Team player, whilst also being able to successfully work autonomously. 
  • Computer skills.
  • Attention to detail.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent experience in Kanban practices.
  • Knowledge and experience in FIFO.
  • Experience in LEAN manufacturing.
  • Experience in Microsoft office.
  • Experience with Reach/Combi forklift
  • Must have High Risk License for Forklift driving.
  • Valid Driver’s license.

 

This position also requires the applicant to undertake a pre-employment medical which includes a drug and alcohol analysis, musculoskeletal evaluation and hearing test.
